Pour la trente-cinquième édition du Festival Automobile International, Rémi Depoix, son président, a fait les choses en grand. Il suffit de voir la qualité du plateau proposé. Pour reprendre ses mots, il s’agit bel et bien de « Célébrer l’automobile sous ses formes les plus nobles, les plus créatives, les plus passionnées ».

Passons aux choses sérieuses maintenant avec la présentation de mes véhicules « préférés » 😉 .

La Bentley EXP 100 GT a été désigné « Plus beau concept-car » de cette année. Pour fêter ses 100 ans, Bentley a imaginé ce coupé de grand tourisme, dessiné par l’équipe du designer Stefan Sielaff. La ligne est tout simplement superbe. La motorisation est électrique et l’intérieur paré de boiseries d’essence rare pour perpétuer la tradition british. La preuve qu’on peut allier Luxe et Ecologie.

En exclusivité mondiale, la Lamborghini V12 Gran Tourismo, créée pour le jeu vidéo éponyme, affiche une ligne extravagante taillée à la serpe. C’est incontestablement la vedette du salon.

La « Voiture Noire » de Bugatti représente le paroxysme des supercars : motorisation W16 8.0 litres de 1500 chevaux reprise de la Chiron, six sorties d’échappement et facturée 11 millions d’euros !

Giorgetto Giugiaro, à qui l’on doit des produits de grande diffusion au design disruptif comme l’Alfasud, la Fiat Panda ou encore la première Golf, est mis à l’honneur avec la présentation de sa Sybilla conçue chez GFG.

Citroën présente aussi deux concept cars complètement opposés. L’Ami One, en hommage aux anciennes Ami 6, 8, est une citadine minimaliste en forme de cube. La 19_19, elle, évoque le futurisme, l’utopie. Une ligne fuselée qui renvoie à la DS19 et une silhouette haut perchée qui rappelle nos crossovers actuels.

Le festival célèbre par ailleurs les 60 ans de la berlinette Alpine, icône du sport automobile français. Différents modèles sont exposés, leur histoire est retracée.
A cela s’ajoute un hommage à Lancia avec la présentation de la Stratos HF qui a marqué l’histoire des rallyes et de la Beta Monte Carlo Turbo animée par un moteur 4 cylindres de 1425 cm3 délivrant 400 ch.

For the thirty-fifth edition of the International Automobile Festival, Rémi Depoix, its president, did things big. You just have to see the quality of the tray offered. To use his words, it is indeed « Celebrating the automobile in its noblest, most creative, most passionate forms ».

Let’s get down to business now with the presentation of my « favorite » vehicles ;-).

The Bentley EXP 100 GT has been named « Most Beautiful Concept Car » this year. To celebrate its 100th anniversary, Bentley imagined this touring coupe, designed by the team of designer Stefan Sielaff. The line is simply superb. The engine is electric and the interior adorned with rare wood paneling to perpetuate the British tradition. The proof that we can combine Luxury and Ecology.

A world exclusive, the Lamborghini V12 Gran Tourismo, created for the eponymous video game, displays an extravagant line cut with a billhook. She is undoubtedly the star of the show.

Bugatti’s « La Voiture Noire » represents the paroxysm of supercars: W16 8.0 liter engine with 1500 horsepower taken from the Chiron, six exhaust outlets and invoiced for 11 million euros !

Citroën also presents two completely opposite concept cars. The Friend One, in homage to the old Friends 6, 8, is a minimalist city because in the shape of a cube. The 19_19, it evokes futurism, utopia. A tapered line that refers to the DS19 and a high-pitched silhouette that recalls our current crossovers.

The festival also celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Alpine berlinette, an icon of French motorsport. Different models are exposed, their history is traced.
